Our Story

Founded in 2024, our nonprofit is committed to creating supportive communities for those facing educational challenges. Drawing on our backgrounds as educators, social workers, and entrepreneurs, we understand the crucial need for safe spaces and supportive services for students, families, and communities. These spaces allow individuals to connect, learn and share their experiences.

Meet the Team

Bonna Marques

Kadaisha serves as the Vice President of SEEN Nonprofit, where she spearheads strategic initiatives and oversees program development to support underprivileged communities. With over 6 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Kadaisha has a proven track record in community outreach and engagement, volunteer coordination, and program design. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University in New Jersey and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Georgia State University.

Kadaisha is also certified as a behavioral assistant for children and adolescents as she is passionate about creating sustainable solutions to academics, social and behavioral challenges. Kadaisha’s leadership and dedication have been instrumental in expanding the organization’s impact and fostering meaningful partnerships. Kadaisha’s unwavering commitment to social empowerment and her innovative approach to nonprofit management continue to inspire her team and drive the mission of SEEN Nonprofit forward.

Outside of work, she enjoys mentoring young professionals in the sector and volunteering in her local community. Kadaisha remains dedicated to making a lasting difference in the lives of those she serves.

Marie S. Fontanges serves as the Treasurer of the Support Educational Equity Network (SEEN), where she brings a wealth of expertise in education, data-driven leadership, and strategic planning to support the organization’s financial oversight and mission-focused growth. With over nine years of experience in public education, Marie is committed to ensuring equitable access to academic and social-emotional support for all students.

.Marie holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University, along with dual certifications in Elementary Education (K–6) and Students with Disabilities (PreK–12). She is fluent in Haitian Creole and is deeply passionate about supporting multilingual learners and students with diverse needs.

As Treasurer of SEEN, Marie applies her skills in data analysis, budgeting, and organizational systems to ensure responsible stewardship of resources—strengthening the impact of the network’s programs and expanding access to high-quality educational support for under-resourced communities.

Bonna Marques serves as the President of the Support Educational Equity Network (SEEN). As a mother, educator, and lifelong learner, she has dedicated over 26 years to supporting students, teachers, and families through meaningful and inclusive education.

Bonna is a certified K–5 educator in New Jersey with extensive experience teaching grades 1 through 6. For more than a decade, she has worked as a Reading, Math, and Science Instructional Coach, mentoring both new and experienced teachers to strengthen instructional practices and improve student outcomes.

In her leadership role at SEEN, Bonna is guided by the belief that every child can succeed when given the right support. Her mission is to ensure that all students—regardless of background—have access to high-quality academic instruction and social-emotional resources that allow them to thrive.
